We remove construction waste in Centrs, carrying it out and loading it ourselves. You do not lift a thing.
Two things govern waste removal in central Riga: the stairwells of the Art Nouveau and pre-war houses, and where a truck may stand. Parking is scarce, much of it paid or restricted, and the courtyards often have no room. In practice the bags travel further than from an ordinary block of flats.
In Art Nouveau and pre-war houses the stairwells are wide but turn sharply, often with original detailing — carved woodwork, tiling, balustrades. A cast-iron bath will not come down them whole. We cut things down on site and protect the finishes; here damage to the stairwell costs more than the removal itself.
In the centre the truck often stands well away from the entrance, and in places there are paid zones or time limits. Every bag then travels further — the single biggest factor in the time and the price here. Tell us in your request whether a vehicle can reach the building.
Much of the work in the centre is commercial — office refits, hotel rooms, shop fit-outs. We work outside business hours and arrange access with the building manager.
Some buildings in the centre are listed. That does not affect waste removal itself, but it means extra care carrying things out, and some demolition work may need consent — check before the job begins.

Book a collectionThe jobs we meet most often in Centrs, and what drives the volume and the time in each.
Partition panels, suspended ceilings, old furniture and carpet. We work evenings, when the building is empty and the streets clearer.
Tiles with mortar, old plaster, a cast-iron bath. Original detailing in the stairwell — we carry in bags and protect the corners.
Old counters, shelving, finishes. Usually at night or early in the morning, so trade is not disturbed.
Cellars in the old houses are cramped, low and badly lit — the same volume takes longer than in a flat.
In central Riga a skip almost always means clearing a parking space with the council, and the courtyards have no room. In paid zones it costs for every day it stands there.
We do not hire out skips at all, even when asked. Our work starts indoors and ends when the truck drives away. Planning a visit to Centrs, we weigh two local factors: a dense public transport network, the main streets and the proximity of the station make the area easy to reach, though vehicle access is often restricted; and dense building, parking limits and courtyard access are the practical constraints. Both decide how close we can park and how long loading takes. If a skip really would suit you better, we will say so.
Yes. If the truck must stand in a paid zone, we build that into the time and the quote. Often it is better to work when a space nearby frees up — we agree that beforehand.
Within Riga the price does not depend on the kilometres but on how much waste there is and how far up it has to be carried. All Riga neighbourhoods.
