After a flat renovation the waste is rarely one material. Usually it is a pile of tiles with their mortar, wallpaper, pieces of plasterboard, skirting, polystyrene mouldings and empty filler bags. This is by far the most common case we deal with. You do not have to sort it — we collect the lot as it is, carry it out and separate it ourselves at disposal.
We collect the waste exactly as it is. Separating it by material is our job, before disposal.
Mixed waste weighs 400–700 kg per cubic metre — between concrete and wood. The exact figure comes from photos.
If the waste is not bagged, we collect it. If it is, the job goes faster and the price is lower.
We set aside paint, solvents and batteries and tell you where they go. They cannot travel in a general load.

Tiles, mortar, lumps of plaster, broken brick. Little room, but most of the total weight.
Wallpaper, pieces of plasterboard, polystyrene mouldings, ceiling panels, old insulation. A lot of space, very little weight.
Skirting boards, fragments of door frames, old parquet blocks, battens.
Empty mortar and filler bags, cardboard boxes, sheeting, insulation wrapping. A surprisingly large volume.
Offcuts of cable, screws, old sockets, silicone tubes, brushes and rollers.
Leftover paint, solvents, batteries. One tin of paint turns the whole load into hazardous waste — we sort those out and tell you where they go.
None of this is required — do nothing and we will do all of it. But these steps genuinely cut the working time, and with it the price.
Bagged waste is carried out far faster than waste tipped across the floor. For heavy waste, fill the bag only halfway — a full bag of mortar weighs 30 kg and splits.
If the waste is gathered by the entrance or in one room rather than scattered through the flat, carrying it out is considerably faster.
Put tins of paint, solvents and batteries to one side. They cannot go in a general load, and we would sort them out anyway.
If the hallway and stairwell are clear and the truck can reach the entrance, the work runs smoothly. Park a long way off and every bag travels further.
