We take away boards, joists, doors, windows, radiators, pipes and scrap metal. Long material is cut down on site.
Wood and metal are the light end of construction waste — a cubic metre weighs 200–400 kg against concrete's two thousand. A single load takes 10–15 m³, which is why removal works out cheaper per cubic metre. The challenge is not weight but size: three-metre joists or a whole door unit will not come down a block stairwell. We cut them on site and carry them out in sections.
Joists, boards and framing are cut so they can be carried out and loaded. Included.
Wardrobes and kitchen carcasses are broken down on site — whole, they rarely go through the door.
Scrap metal has a value. In larger quantities it can bring the total down — tell us if there is a lot.
Wood, metal and mixed waste go to the right place. Nothing for you to separate.

Book a collectionA cubic metre of boards and skirting weighs 200–400 kg — ten times less than concrete. A single load takes 10–15 m³, which is why wood costs less per cubic metre to remove. The problem is a different one: long boards and joists have to be cut to fit the truck at all, and to come down the stairwell.
Ferrous metal — old radiators, pipes, metal door frames, reinforcing bar — goes to a scrap merchant. In larger quantities that can bring the removal price down. If you have a substantial amount, say so in the form and we will allow for it in the quote.
Three-metre joists cannot come down a block stairwell. We cut them on the spot — standard, not an extra service.
Wood and metal go separately from mixed waste, because they follow different recycling routes. We do the sorting — you separate nothing.
Old internal doors with frames, timber window units with the glass, window boards. We take the glass out or secure it so it does not break in transit.
Built-in wardrobes, overhead storage, shelving, kitchen carcasses. Broken down on site so they can be carried out.
Joists, boards, battens, old ceiling panels, decking boards.
Cast-iron and steel radiators, water and heating pipes, cylinders.
Fence panels, gates, metal doors, reinforcing bar, sections.
Assorted metal items from the cellar, the garage or the shed.
