Jūrmala is long and polycentric — more than twenty kilometres from Priedaine to Ķemeri. A Jūrmala address can mean very different conditions: in Majori, dense building with narrow streets; in Kauguri, blocks of flats; in Ķemeri and Vaivari, houses and summer cottages in the pine woods on sandy tracks.
The wooden summer houses and historic buildings need a careful approach. Renovating one produces mixed waste: old plaster, timber framing, glazed windows, old insulation. Narrow stairs and fragile verandas mean we take large items apart on the spot rather than drag them out whole.
In the pine woods and away from the main streets the roads are sand or gravel. A loaded truck takes them carefully, especially after rain. If reaching the building looks doubtful, we assess it from photos and plan smaller loads over several trips.
In summer there are far more people, more traffic and fewer parking spaces, and some properties are seasonal. Work in hotels, guest houses and cottages is usually planned for the off-season. We work all year, and out of season a visit can be arranged sooner.

When we plan a run to Jūrmala we allow for two local factors: the main links to Riga are the A10 and an electrified railway line with several stations, and the fact that this is a sea coast exposed to the wind. Both affect how close we can park and how long loading takes. If a skip really would suit you better, we will say so honestly.
